Sajesh Krishnan’s life is a powerful reminder that strength is not defined by what the body loses, but by what the mind refuses to give up. In 2005, at just eighteen, a life-changing road accident cost Sajesh Krishnan his left leg below the knee — but it could not take away his spirit. Refusing to see the incident as a setback, he rebuilt his life from the ground up, transforming adversity into a powerful rebirth. Today, he stands as Kerala’s first Blade Runner and one of India’s most inspiring para athletes.In 2005, at just eighteen, a life-changing road accident cost Sajesh Krishnan his left leg below the knee — but it could not take away his spirit. Running on an artificial limb, Sajesh has represented both Kerala and India in numerous marathons and sports events. With more than 70 marathons to his credit, including multiple 21 km half-marathons, he continues to push the boundaries of human endurance.
In 2019, Sajesh proudly represented India at the Para Amputee Football Confederation Cup in Kenya, where his team finished as runners-up — a moment that placed him on the international stage. He further proved his grit by scaling Tadiyandamol, Karnataka’s third-highest peak, with the support of an artificial limb, showcasing extraordinary mental strength and determination.
A BTech graduate turned athlete, Sajesh has become a symbol of resilience and hope. As a motivational speaker, he inspires thousands through his talks and digital platforms, spreading the message that physical limitations can never stop a determined mind.
His journey led him to a prestigious platform hosted by Microsoft, where he spoke on “AI and Fitness”, connecting the power of technology with sports, mindset, and human performance. In 2020, he was recognized as the Emerging Sportsman of the Year by the Lions Club of Kochi.

Annual General Body Meeting 2025
AGM
The Annual General Body Meeting of CGOA was held at 4 45 PM on 12 July 2025 at the CGOA Auditorium
Forty members attended. Dr.Chandramohan Kumar former Registrar of CUSAT was the Chief Guest.
The meeting started with a prayer by Mrs Nirmala Ravinath, followed by the
obituary References in memory our beloved members viz., Dr Lalithambika, .Dr. Gopakumar and Dr.K.G.Girijavallabhan.
Dr.K K C Nair, Vice President welcomed the members and the Presidential address was delivered by Sri S Ananthanarayanaan.
Annual report for 2024-25 and Minutes of Last AGM were read by the Secretary and the Treasurer presented the
Audited Accunts for the finacial year 2024-25. The reports and the financial statements were discussed and passed by the House after necessary deliberations and corrections.
A new Directory of members was released during the function. The Chief Guest handed over a copy of the Directory to President.
Revised Directory is issued after 8 years.
